Facilities at Black Rock for Activity Holidays and Weekends in Somerset
There are a range of facilities at our Black Rock Activity Centre in Somerset.
There are toilets and drinking water. We have Picnic benches under a shelter and for those after a bit of luxury we have a Barbecue Lodge for lunch. Tea and Coffee is available on request.
The Barbecue Lodge
After an adventurous activity there is nothing better than sitting down to lovely warm meal and getting to chat about the fun you have just had. We now have a large Barbecue Lodge to hire so you can do just that! It’s the perfect spot to discuss your day’s adventures or consolidate your learning with each other. It comfortably fits up to 25 people in the round and is ideal to hold group discussions, have a friendly chat, debrief on team activities or just to relax and eat. There is a small charge for the use of this.
On-site Accomodation
Our activity centre is based on Cobbs Cross Farm where the Campsite/Glampsite Secret Valley is based. There are Wigwams, Yurts, Teepees and new Reindeer Huts, There is a barn with Wifi, play equipment for children, sand pit and Table Tennis. There is an indoor kitchen and dining area. A toilet and shower block. The farm is also an attraction with Vineyards and Christmas Trees.
