Mountain Biking

We run Mountain Biking as a half day or full day session on the Quantock or Mendip Hills. Groups need to be a minimum of four in number and the maximum is usually eight. Adult groups or children from about the age of ten years old upwards. Participants must be able to ride a bike. This may seem obvious but some turn up who can't. 

Selected routes are on varied tracks and trails and include both uphill and downhill sections. Led by a qualified and experienced leader, the emphasis is on safe and enjoyable riding in controlled conditions.

Bikes with front suspension are supplied, together with helmets, which must be worn.

Participants need to wear suitable clothing, to take into account the weather conditions. Gloves and waterproofs are recommended.

A degree of fitness is required, in addition to the ability to ride a bike on rough surfaces.
